Welcome to the 101!

US Highway 101 once stretched from Mexico to Canada. In San Diego County, where the road was decomissioned, towns are celebrating the road with Historic Route signs. US 101 comprised much of what was El Camino Real in California, and took motorists north through Oregon and Washington to Canada.

This is the place to talk about all the old sections of 101, and what's happening on the road right now.
