Title: U.S Highway 14
Post by: Bill K on October 28, 2006, 04:58:18 PM
Just a little information about this wonderful U.S. Highway.

As of 2004, the highway's eastern terminus is in Chicago, Illinois at an intersection with U.S. Highway 41. Its western terminus is the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

14 and 41, that's an interesting meeting.

Route 14 was the Black and Yellow Trail.

Do you know any of the history of that auto trail or its organizers?

From the little that I know of the highway, I do not believe that the whole road was the black and yellow trail.  I believe that only parts of it was.
